Max has dedicated her entire adult life to the fitness industry and comes us instructor with a loyal following. Since playing varsity soccer while attending the University of Maryland, Max has studied anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience. The knowledge obtained from these studies, combined with Max’s drive, energy and endearing personality, led to her becoming a highly sought after personal trainer. At the same time, Max was participating in many fitness competitions, where she last placed 2nd at the NPC Eastern USA at age 40.
After sustaining numerous injuries over the years, Max grew tired of weight training and began to explore the burgeoning practice of yoga. Yoga provided a regimen to maintain her physique without putting damaging stress on her body and joints. It also allowed Max to tone, stretch, and condition her muscles more efficiently and effectively than anything she’d done before, plus there is the added benefit of a deeper mind/body connection.
For the past 12 years, Max has served as the Camp Chipinaw Athletic Director & Camp Mom.
Max leads some of our Hot Flow Yoga classes. She is also available for private, semi-private and small group training.
